Kew Gardens are one of the most well known tourist locations in London, so you can't really not cover them on a travel blog like this. Gardens were originally founded back in 1759 and the span around 300 acres. Paths are well kept, with lots of greenery. Most of the glasshouses are heated to keep them from freezing over the winter. Sheer volume of visitors to the Kew Gardens tells you that it is a seriously good destination. There are a total of 750 employed there whose job is to make your visit to the gardens as best as possible. Make sure to add Kew Gardens to your itinerary when visiting London. Yes it is. If you go visit Barnes area in the southeast corner of London you should come across the London Wetland Center. It is a wetland reserve that spans about 40 hectares of land. Visiting there you can enjoy a seemingly intact nature and enjoy birdwatching, maybe even discover new bird species there. Best part of the Center is that it is very close to the London city center. Exact location of Rivoli ballroom is Brockley Road, Crofton Park, which is of course in south London. Ballroom follows art deco decorative style and has a capacity of up to 700. It's quite a large, since it was originally a cinema. In 1957 new owner of the building converted it and reopened as a ballroom. Many music start like Tina Turner, Oasis, Elton John and several others have recorded music videos for their songs at Rivoli. Events such as music concerts, cabarets, theater shows, jive parties and video shoots are frequently kept there.
